About Tuscany Hidden Gems

It began with a trip to Tuscany in 2021... searching for answers and needing a life reset, I booked a spontaneous yoga retreat. The yoga retreat was bizarre, but I did hear a clear and divine calling. 

Upon returning home to Minnesota I started researching: "Can Americans buy property in Italy, what are the Visa options, where is affordable?" I spent the next 6 months deep diving into finding answers, looking at hundreds of properties and researching areas. I looked at every listing in Tuscany and narrowed my focus (most agents did not respond to my inquiries). Then it happened, I saw a property that won my heart.... in a hilltop village I had never heard of. The casa was called "IL Terrazzino" (The Terrace). 

IL Terrazzino was timeless. A 3 story, 4 bedroom, 2 bath sanctuary with a Carrara marble staircase and dove white walls. A converted monastery (I was told) and divided into a maze of connecting Tuscan apartments all around the village. It needed a little TLC, but overall was breathtaking as is. The timeworn exquisite door - whispered stories from 300 years.
